School of Fashion Designs adds Ralph Lauren Area Manager to Board

Catherine Jeremko, Area Manager for Ralph Lauren on Newbury Street, joins the School of Fashion Design Board of Directors

The School of Fashion Design today announced the addition of Catherine Jeremko, Ralph Lauren Newbury Street location Store Manager, to the SFD Board of Trustees.

“I am thrilled to be part of SFD and hope that I can make a significant contribution to the school’s success,” said Ms. Jeremko.

Ms. Jeremko was born in New Jersey and grew up there and in Connecticut. She attended the University of Vermont and graduated from the School of Business with a concentration in Marketing and Management. She started in Ralph Lauren’s management training program the week after she graduated and has worked for Ralph Lauren for the past 26 years in several various positions with the company. She currently lives in Newtonville with her son and husband.

“We are delighted to have Catherine’s experience brought to the SFD Board of Trustees,” says SFD President Dr. Denise Hammon. “Several of our alumni have enjoyed internships and careers with the Ralph Lauren label, and we’re proud to add Catherine and the prestigious Ralph Lauren company as a partner in training our students to be next generation of design talent.”

The School of Fashion Design is the only educational institution in New England dedicated exclusively to the study of fashion design. SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction. Small, hands-on classes are taught by expert faculty in professional studio workrooms, and the school’s Newbury Street location is at the heart of the Boston fashion district.
